‘Participants’ are the judges…a new trend in truck shows!

Anyone who enters a truck in the show, automatically become a judge.  Participants (ONLY) will receive  judging forms at the door and will have the opportunity to select a truck in each category.  IT IS MANDATORY FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS TO COMPLETE JUDGING FORMS!

Classes to include:

Bobtail (DayCab/ Sleeper/ Dump Truck/ Other)…1st – 5th each

Combo (Reefer or Van/ Flatbed/ Dump Trailer/ Other)…1st – 5th each

Classic (1980 & Older)…1st – 5th each

The first annual Miss ECLC/Ujena Model Search 2009 is scheduled to be held on June 13, 2009 at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in August, NJ.

Participants must pre-register.  Email a professional bikini photo, a snap-shot bikini photo, a headshot and short bio to apparel@srsnational.com   You must have a Ujena Talent profile to be considered.
Only 20 contestants will be chosen.
The cut-off for submissions will be May 15, 2009.
The 20 finalists will be required to have a Ujena suit for competition.. Use code 370 when ordering.
Contestants will be judged during a photo shoot as well as a professional onstage bikini contest.

The 2009 Ujena Jam nine night package starts August 29, 2009.
“The Ujena Jam has become one of the most important events in PV. It has become an event the media can not ignore. This added attention gives our models and photographers more exposure,” stated Bob Anderson, Jam Director
Jam models and photographers will be worked from sun-up til sundown everyday of the Jam beginning August 29. UjENA Jam partners and guests will be observing, judging and assisting at the photo shoots. The best images will be submitted for judging. The photo shoots are a great way to discover new talent and also win prizes, awards, Jam scholarships and contracts to the winners.

About ECMT:
East Coast Mini Truckers is a club organized around 1/14 and 1/16 scale remote control models. The organization is regionally based and currently has members in Maryland, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. We anticipate on meeting three – four times annually to run our equipment, discuss the hobby, and swap spare parts.
 
ECMT is a developing organization for those modelers who are interested in Radio-Controlled Semi Trucks and Construction Equipment Models; Semi Tractors, Box tractors, all type of construction equipment, etc. ECMT promote’s the skills required to design, produce and operate exact, semi and stand-off scale semi trucks and construction equipment with an emphasis on vehicles from all time periods in 1/14 – 1/16 scales. Get together with fellow modelers, who like you, want to pursue this most interesting facet of the Radio Control Hobby. 
 
All are Welcome, Membership is free, Membership is not required. The East Coast Mini Truckers event is open to any person owning a 1/14 or 1/16 scale Truck, Tractor Trailer and or Construction Equipment.
 
Registration is $5.00 the day of the event, Anyone and Everyone is welcome! Funds collected go towards Door prizes, Best of Show Trophy and a Trophy for the Winner of our R/C Rodeo contest.

Well things are moving at an amazing pace, it seems that everyone you talk to knows about the show! The response to the promotion campaign by Richie has exceeded all expectations. Overdrive mag is going to cover the show, they are going to interview Richie for May’s mag to get some background on the effort that he has made to make this event work.

The event itself is going to be held in Sussex County Fairgrounds, Augusta NJ. Food, Music, Vendors and a lot of great trucks ( yours we hope ) will be there. Also there might be a couple of surprises for all of us, can’t comment on them yet but they will be great if it works out.
